Sometimes you gotta say no

BSG - Okay, so I got to season three, and this is it. I'm done. At this point, I kinda wish all the humans left on New Caprica would just jump off a cliff like lemmings and be done with it already. It's changed too much. It's not fun anymore. It's just misery heaped on misery. At least for the first two seasons there were some highpoints and moments of redemption within the horrible. Don't need it without that. Kinda really disappointed in this show, I'm not gonna lie.

Wolverine - Unlike BSG, this movie was AWESOMEPANTS. It was a little fast in some parts and had absolutely nothing to do with the cominc book storyline, but it was still exactly the sort of escapism I need. I loved the art direction in the opening montage. I loved Hugh Jackman's ass, the man made denim and flannel sexier than silk. Never thought I'd have a lumberjack kink until that movie.

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING IN THIS POST. I stopped watching BSG whenever Apollo got fat and Starbuck was with some sick guy, because I'd never liked either of them and my favorite minor characters had been killed off or something. :/

I'm pretty sure I saw X-2 8000 times JUST for Hugh Jackman's legs. Whoever dresses him as Wolverine totally knows what they are doing. :D

EXACTLY. It just topped my angst-o-meter with the character death (physical) and assassination (metaphorical). And then I wanted them all to die, because I'm not entirely sure the human race as depicted by that show *deserves* to exist.

OMG, Hugh Jackman was A-FUCKING-MAZING. He was jacked (hah!) but not to the point of too much. Just perfect. And the movie was awesome. And the action scenes were awesome. GAMBIT, dude!! I really wanted logan to go with him at the end. *happysigh* I want to go see it again.

I still adore the show, but Adama/Roslin used to be my OTP- like, I liked them more than Remus and Sirius OTP- and I HATED Adama by the shows end. That took some doing. I get where you're coming from.

If there are any characters you want to know the ending to without having to have your heart stomped on so badly, I'll happily spill :)

I know, what's with everyone changing and being all morally ambiguous (and not in the way that they think they're acting for the greater good)

I went ahead and read all the episode summaries. It ends sad but kinda poignantly, huh? Netflix sent the next disks even though I took them off my list, so I might watch a couple more. Just for kicks (literally). Who knows...

Yeah, no kidding. I think it's part of the reason Gaeta became my pet- he held on to his good side for so long, and when he did snap, I was actually on his side.

It does ends sad but poignantly, although to be honest, I really didn't like a lot of the episodes before the finale. I'm glad the show ended when it did, because I think it was starting to get shaky. Plus, they killed my two favorite characters (Gaeta and Zarek) IN THE SAME SECOND, so I wasn't thrilled with that.

Did you get more of Season 3? (Exodus is an awesome episode, even just for the space porn) or are you on to Season 4?

More S3. I think I'm going to hate the next couple, but, yeah, looking forward to when they get off the planet where everything started to go wrong.

Exodus (especially the second part) is pretty awesome and genuinely uplifting. Collaborators is HARD- I'll warn you about that one right now. After that, there start to be some upswings. But it is amazing how much human misery they can pack into one TV show.

It also amazes me that more women don't watch it, given how many hot guys take off their shirts :)
