SGA 5x02: The Seed, and some political video for fun

Is it me, or is it beat-up-on-Sheppard month over at SGA? Not that I mind, mind you, provided that it inspires lots of post-tentacle-in-the-chest cuddling fic. I like it. But that's just me. (And I assume the novelty will wear off at some time. Then again, it might not.)

I'm VERY glad they brought Carson back, even with all the woobly science. I missed him, and Keller doesn't quite do it for me. I keep expecting her to go fix an engine or eat a strawberry or something. Oh! Unless she's macking it with Ronon because that? was VERY adorable in every way (WAY more adorable than her sudden interest in Rodney). The way he went charging off to save her makes me hope he thinks it was good times too, although with Ronon, it's hard to tell.

Woolsey. This is going to be fun. A lot of what he said and did was right, except for the that fact that it was completely wrong for the way things get done in Pegasus. I love that he's aware of it, too. Not that I had any problem with Sam, but she's a problem-solver and me? I want some CONFLICT in my expedition leader. Weir was that perfect blend of respect-for-Military (John, anyway) and find-another-way. I think Woolsey will get there. I'd love to see him and John have some surprise male-bonding time over football or ferris wheels later in the season.

I think that's all I have to say about that. Looking forward to next week; I feel like Ronon's dreads have been lacking in plot time as of late.
