a few things.
1. THANK YOU for the birthday wishes! I need to thank you all individually, but for now a blanket, "feelin the love" and appreciating it so much. *smishes*
2. The new job is going well so far. I'm making plenty of rookie mistakes, but I feel like the team is behind me regardless. And that's a very good feeling.
3. My furniture has still not arrived. I suspect I could have carried it faster ON MY BACK. And the company will officially be in breach of contract if it is not here by tomorrow. They have not been in contact since last Thursday-- when they told me to stop calling because "they were working on it". Yeah stinking right.
4. My new neighbors are awesome. We shared a fabulous bottle of wine tonight after they helped me finish putting Henry's invisible fence in the ground.
5. I can't believe LJ is not in one of my "most visited" Google!Chrome pages. This shall have to be remedied...
6. I don't usually get political, but I was... I dunno, moved or inspired, or firmly agreed with (but I'm not entirely sure with all of) Frank Rich's column for the NYT this week. Don't Get Mad, Mr. President, Get Even. I guess because it posits something positive to come from this oil spill which has been a black mark on my universal consciousness.
7. I miss you all! How's things?
