quiet tonight

Made it down to the city this morning, in time to run in Central Park before dark. It was one of those drives through opressive rain and fog; on the GW bridge, even the lower level was encased in cloud. Found parking. Family is good.
My parents found a bottle of 1963 Chateau Lafite-Rothschild that was my grandma's before she died. We opened it tonight. It was... pretty badly corked (had survived a flood and very many temperature fluctuations) but at least I can say I tried it once, eh. :)
From the opposite end of the spectrum, saw Snakes on a Plane. Don't really know what to say except; why didn't they just turn down the thermostat when the first snake was spotted? Take advantage of that enviable mammalian ability to shiver.
Okay, off to work on Winchesters in New York. ( excerpt - they're not quite there yet. )
