Eeee!
Why do I love this show so much?
I really really do.
First, George and Nina. The fallout from what he did to Nina is perfect. Slow. Her reactions are so human. George has had years to come to terms with this. It's new to her. She doesn't understand life with monsters. I really have no idea whether they're going to have the professor kill her at the next full moon or whether George will save her just in time-- and I can imagine it as a brilliant story either way. I'm curious what a "type 3" is; a werewolf? or a kind of werewolf?
Second, Annie, Saul, and Hugh. GUH. I loved this arc. I love that her decision isn't without consequence. I love that the afterworld communicates through pop TV. I love that something (the others? herself?) took away the thing that matters to Annie most just when she figured everything out. I love that she figured out Hugh was the one-- yet Saul was a hero at the end. I'm dying to know whether Mitchell and George still see her. (I suspect they do)
Last, Mitchell. This arc was love. I want to know all about his time with Carl. I loved Carl's story, his everything. I loved George's jealousy over their relationship-- if I wasn't slashing them before (and I was) I am now. I love that Mitchell is finding himself in the logistical parrt of Herrick's role. I want to know what *really* happened to Carl's lover (I don't believe he killed him, rather that it had something to do with the professor).
In conclusion, SO GOOD!
