OMG, WTF?

Central New York doesn't get the CW network.

Correction: they do in Syracuse, but not in Ogdensburg, Thompkins, Jefferson/Lewis, or Candor.

The station listed on the CW network website as being our local CW apparently doesn't know it, because they're showing a Grey's Anatomy double-feature tonight (and every Thursday at nine from here on out.) *facepalm*

I called my local Time Warner rep, and she tried to tell me that CW and MYTV were the same station with different names. I tried not to laugh in her face because Dean Winchester doesn't do telenovelas.

Seriously, I pay $120/month for more than two hundred stations of digital cable, and they can't get me all five of the FREE channels?!?

*throws hands in air*

In other news, I'M DONE WITH FINALS!!!

I think it's highly probable that I passed, too, although not with the flying colors I'd hoped for.

Didn't realize I was strung up so tight until I haven't been able to stop shaking since I got out.

*happy sigh, despite wanting to stab sharp objects through my cable provider's eyes*

Yay for finals being over! :D

As for the CW, I'm sorry. :( Maybe it'll get resolved soon, it may just be a mix-up? maybe? Satellite perhaps? I have satellite, so even if my town didn't have CW (which thank god it does) I could still get a station, even if it were in other town or time zone.

Well, no matter what, you won't be without Supernatural, since we all know there are other ways. But yeah, bummer. :(

Can't change providers without roomie getting on board, and after last weekend, this is not something I'm gonna act so involved in, if you know what I mean.

there are other ways

Yeah, I know. But then I'll have to wait a couple of hours for all yall to watch them before they're uploaded and I can d/l, which totally ruins one of the few advantages of living in frigid New England. *g*

I mean, not getting my favorite TV is hardly the end of the world, but dude, this isn't a frigging third world country. For more than $1500 a year, this should be a non-issue.
